Project postcard

Nostalgia was setting in like a deep fog a couple weeks ago when my friend Margaret and I wandered into our favourite antique store in down town Northfield. We happened upon a table full of bizarre antique postcards and couldn't resist buying one or twenty. Two hours later, we were still sitting in a coffee shop, having long since finished our drinks, writing furiously in postcards to people who had been positive influences in our lives. It may seem a little cheesy- but it was a really rewarding exercise. After only a few hours we had-

• 15 beautifully decorated postcards
• A huge mess of watercolours 
• Hand cramps from writing
• Good vibes

We wrote to teachers, relatives, friends, even employers.

Also I got this crazy awesome Frida Kahlo card in response. Who doesn't love that?!
